Be your own BFF: Navigating Friendship Shifts Saturday, May 9 from 10 am - 12 noon
This is a drop-off workshop just for kids.
Shifting friendship dynamics are a normal part of growing up—especially during puberty. As the brain remodels, changing interests, identity exploration, and mood swings can all impact friendships. Yet most school-based puberty education doesn’t cover the essential social-emotional tools kids need to navigate these changes with confidence.
In this empowering workshop, Konika will guide students through a mini lesson on how to recognize the signs of healthy vs. unhealthy friendships, set firm boundaries, and stay grounded in their self-worth. Through discussion and reflection, students will build the confidence to handle friendship challenges with clarity and compassion.
Participants will also have the opportunity to submit anonymous questions about tricky friendship situations in our “curiosity box” and receive supportive, peer-to-peer ideas for navigating them.
We’ll wrap up the session with our interactive Mood Science Lab, where students will explore a color-changing experiment that reveals how quickly things can shift—just like emotions and friendships. As the colors transform, we’ll connect the science to real-life experiences, reinforcing that changing feelings are normal and learning how to understand them can help us respond with confidence and self-awareness.
Investment: $125 per workshop (2 hours) and includes a virtual parent education session via zoom.

Media Mindset: Fostering Healthy Digital Habits Saturday, June 6 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm
In today's digital world, giving a child their first device is a significant milestone. Our Media Mindset workshop provides the essential foundation children need before stepping into the digital landscape, whether through tablets, smartphones, or smart watches.
Drawing from Harvard's renowned "Project Zero" curriculum and Common Sense Media's expert resources, we've created an engaging, age-appropriate program that combines education with empowerment. Through interactive activities and guided discussions, children learn to:
- Navigate the digital world with confidence and awareness
- Recognize and respond to uncomfortable situations
- Build healthy technology habits that support their wellbeing
- Practice decision-making through real-life scenarios
Proactive Protection
Led by experienced educator Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed, the workshop includes thoughtful, age-appropriate guidance on handling unexpected content. By providing children with clear strategies and encouraging open communication with trusted adults, we help prevent potential distress from accidental exposure to inappropriate material.
This workshop isn't just about rules and restrictions – it's about empowering our children to become critical thinkers and responsible digital citizens who understand how to protect their wellbeing in an increasingly connected world.
Our workshop will culminate with a fun science project: creating mindful glitter jars. These serve as beautiful reminders to listen to our bodies and moderate our screen time consumption.
Investment: $125 (2 hours) and includes a virtual parent education session via zoom.
