Perimenopause Power

Perimenopause Power

What to expect. What helps. How to advocate for yourself.

Thursday, February 12 from 7 - 8:30 pm PST

Perimenopause is a powerful transition—yet most people enter it with little guidance, clear information, or support. Many are left wondering Is this normal? When does this start? What actually helps?

Perimenopause Power is an evidence-based, science forward workshop designed to bring clarity to the confusion.

Led by educator, author, and body literacy specialist Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed, this workshop blends lived experience and practical tools to help us understand what’s happening in our bodies—and how to navigate it with confidence.

The content is shaped by real questions submitted by former participants and focuses on three key areas:

  • What to Expect: Ages, stages, and common signs of perimenopause and menopause

  • Lifestyle, Nutrition & Supplements: What supports hormonal shifts—and what’s mostly hype

  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): What it is, when it’s considered, and how to have informed conversations with your doctor

Konika also shares a personal case study, including the signs and symptoms she noticed in her own body and how she documented them and advocated for herself in a medical setting—offering language and strategies attendees can adapt for themselves.

Did you know that over 80% of OB/GYNs report receiving little to no formal training on menopause during medical school? This gap helps explain why so many women feel dismissed or under-informed. Access to clear, trustworthy information is essential for effective self-advocacy and care.

The workshop also includes:

  • 10 Superpowers of Perimenopause (a participant favorite)

  • 5 Ways to Be an Ally for partners, kids, and loved ones

  • Generous time for live Q&A

This is not about “powering through.” It’s about body literacy, agency, and support—so you can move forward informed, validated, and empowered.

Open to all. Come curious. Leave empowered.

Virtual Class: Thursday, February 12 from 7 - 8:30 pm PST
