What People Are Saying

I highly recommend this series of classes taught by Konika, a talented and experienced science teacher, who has created a nurturing and safe space for girls to learn and ask questions about puberty. This organization is filling a much needed gap in girls' education, something that most schools simply don't have the resources to provide. The hands-on activities and experiments provide a terrific experiential and fun way to engage the girls around different topics, which have been thoughtfully curated for each class in the series. We are so lucky to have this new educational space for girls in the Bay Area.

Konika has created a safe space for girls to learn the science behind puberty. Getting this information in a natural way, based on facts, with peers is a game-changer on how they will experience this stage of life.

I wish it were longer. If there is a 2.0, we will join for sure!

Konika is a truly extraordinary teacher. She has an amazing ability to address sensitive topics (like puberty, human sexuality, and development) in a completely age-appropriate, straight-forward, inclusive, and compassionate way. I have had the great privilege of getting to teach some classes together with Konika and every time I watch her with students, I am just blown away by her ability to encourage curiosity and cultivate a nonjudgmental space where all questions are answered accurately and lovingly. Konika bridges the gap between the hard facts of science and the sensitive understanding of the social-emotional needs of girls as they grow. If you are a parent of a young girl, sign your daughter up for Girl Power Science now! She will walk away with excitement about the world around her and a feeling of strength and confidence in her amazing, powerful body. What greater gift can you give a growing girl?
