Imagine a world where every child with a uterus felt strong, confident, and proud of their body’s inner superpowers.
In this virtual workshop, author Konika Wong reads One in a Million – A First Book About Periods and guides families through a fun, age-appropriate introduction to ovulation, menstruation, and all the amazing inventions we use to care for our bodies.
Through colorful visuals, interactive demos, and a hands-on science experiment, we’ll celebrate the power of our cycles together. The the session will culminate with plenty of time for questions. Perfect for curious kids (ages 7+) and the grownups who love them. All genders welcome.
Investment: $55
Our session will culminate with an optional hands-on science experiment called the “Pad Lab” followed by a celebratory “closing circle” with a cookie and a cup of tea, juice, or any beverage of choice.
Materials needed: scissors, paper towel, teaspoon, cup of water, blue food color, and small menstrual pad or panty liner, cookie, and beverage.
