CuriosiTea
Each registration is for one child and one adult.
When: Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (SOLD OUT)
NEW session: Saturday, November 16th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Puberty Power from 1:00 - 2:00 pm (Just for Kids)
We will celebrate growth by reframing the changes associated with puberty as superpowers. From mood swings to breast buds, building body confidence is all about having an attitude of gratitude that our bodies are healthy and growing.
We will encourage a little self care and good hygiene by making fruity fizzy bath bombs.
Go with the Flow from 2:00 - 3:00 (Just for Kids)
GPS founder and author, Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed will read her children’s book, “One in a Million - A First Book About Periods.” Using a wide variety of visual aids, we will explore the science of menstruation and all of the new and old inventions that help us manage our periods.
Our kids-only portions will culminate with two super fun science experiments.
CuriosiTea Ceremony from 3:00 - 4:00 (For Grown-ups and Kids Together)
Parents and caregivers will join us for the final part of this session: a special tea ceremony. This unique opportunity creates a safe and supportive community, fostering open conversations and shared wisdom. By modeling how to discuss growth and change with confidence and openness, we help our daughters experience a dialogue that is both empowering and free of shame.
We’ll sip our chai lattes and nibble on small bites while Konika answers the questions submitted by the children into the curiosiTea pot. Then each girl and grownup will create a glass bead cycle tracker bracelet together.
Please note that all sales are final. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. We recommend that you find a friend to take your spot.
