What are we teaching our girls?
In the wake of the Cornell Seven situation, we have both been hearing from parents and educators asking for support in talking with girls about consent, bodily autonomy, peer pressure, speaking up, and body confidence.
So we’re creating a space to have that conversation together.
What Are We Teaching Our Girls?
Tuesday, December 1
7:00–8:30 PM PST
Online
We’ll explore:
• building body confidence
• consent beyond “no means no”
• peer pressure, power, and belonging
• digital culture and relationships
• how girls can speak up and step in when something isn’t right
• practical, age-appropriate conversations parents can begin at home
These conversations shouldn’t begin when our children leave for college.
They begin much earlier — with feelings, boundaries, friendship, dignity, and respect.
We’re excited to co-facilitate this conversation:
Tanveer Alibhai | Alibhai Educational Consulting
Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed. | Girl Power Science
