Girl & Grown-up "Puberty Power" on Saturday September 26 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Did you know girls* have amazing superpowers—and some of them activate during puberty? This class offers a positive introduction to puberty, giving girls the tools and knowledge to feel strong and confident during this transformation.
We’ll take on the Brain Game Team Challenge, play “Bra-vo” and “Guess the Candy Deodorant Scent,” and encourage self-care by making fruity bath bombs to take home.
Note: This introductory class does not cover menstruation. The next workshop in the series, “Period Power” focuses entirely on periods.
*We’ll be focusing on the puberty changes experienced by humans assigned female at birth, and sharing empowering tools and strategies to embrace those changes. Gender-expansive youth are welcome to attend. Our workshops are inclusive of all genders and family structures. We recognize that children can have different feelings and experiences as their bodies change, and we use inclusive language and create space for questions and individual perspectives.
Investment: $150 per workshop (1.5 hours) for one parenting adult and one child
We will serve a light snack and magic color changing lemonade.
5-Star Yelp Review:
“I really enjoyed attending the Puberty Power Workshop with other mom friends and their kids. As an educator, Konika is very organized and understands kids' attention spans, so we covered a lot: interactive games, how we're feeling about the transition, making bath-bombs from scratch, answering questions in a curiosity box.”
“I appreciated her positive, "attitude of gratitude" approach that was science-based and also celebratory. As a result, our kids left feeling more comfortable and confident talking about and being ready for any changes to come. Highly recommend!” - Anne S. -

5-Star Yelp Review:
“I can't say enough good things about Konika's mission and classes. We did a mother-daughter class about periods a few weeks ago with our soon-to-be 10 year olds. Her teaching style is engaging and informative. She's created a fun and relaxed space to discuss puberty and menstruation openly and candidly, removing shame that never should have been there in the first place. It was a fun morning with laughter, bonding and joy.” - Jennifer B.

"Pause Power" - An Evening for Grown-ups on Saturday November 14 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Harness the power of your perimenopause transformation.
What if perimenopause isn’t a crisis to fix, but a powerful awakening to embrace?
We’ve been sold a story that says women should fight aging at every turn: erase the wrinkles, control the weight, manage the symptoms, stay youthful. And now, an entire industry is increasingly monetizing our fear of getting older.
Pause Power invites you to question that story and get curious about what’s actually happening inside your body.
Why does your sleep suddenly change? What’s happening to your brain when estrogen fluctuates? Why can your body composition shift even when your habits haven’t? And why can it feel like everything is changing at once?
Grounded in the science of hormones, brain health, and the biology of aging, and informed by a feminist perspective on bodies, beauty standards, and power, Pause Power brings science and social-emotional learning together to help you understand this transition from the inside out.
Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed co-created this workshop with Dr. Kim Garfinkel, MD, MPH, DABOM, MSCP, a board-certified OB/GYN and Menopause Society Certified Menopause provider who specializes in midlife medicine and is board certified in obesity medicine. The content was shaped by questions submitted by more than 200 mothers at a Bay Area high school when we first developed and presented this session together.
We’ll unpack the fascinating biology of perimenopause, separate fact from fear, and examine how culture and beauty standards shape the way we experience our changing bodies. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of what’s happening, practical tools for navigating the transition, and the confidence to make informed choices about your health and wellbeing.
You’ll also create a customized herbal tea blend to take home and enjoy light snacks and hot tea as we pause, connect, and reflect together.
Question the story.
Understand the science.
Reclaim your power.
Investment: $85 (1.5 hours)
Light snacks and hot tea will be served, and each participant will create a customized herbal tea blend to take home.
Celebrate the full arc of our journeys of growth and transformation, from puberty to perimenopause.
The Power Bundle includes two “Girl and Grown-Up” workshops for girls and their grown-ups, plus a special evening session just for the grown-ups.
$299 for all three workshops. A $385 value! Save $86.
