Interactive Virtual Classes for Families
Take a forty-five minute workshop with your child from the comfort of your own home! These virtual classes are for children ages 8 - 12 and one or more grownups in their family. These are live Zoom sessions with a science lesson and prompts to encourage interactive discussions with your child led by GPS Founder, Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed . Each workshop is $35. Media Mindset - Navigating the Digital World

Based on Harvard’s “Project Zero” curriculum, this class will cover strategies to strengthen media literacy skills using digital dilemma scenarios. Topics will include healthy digital habits, digital safety, and proactive conversations about pornography to prevent trauma.

Be your Own BFF - Navigating Changing Friendships

The pubertal brain remodel leads to identity shifts and it makes perfect sense that friendships evolve too. In this class, we’ll learn about healthy friendships, self love, and self care. We’ll break down the science of why we compare ourselves to others and how we can harness this human trait to build confidence.

Why do our bodies change during puberty? We can build a human! In this class, we will begin by brainstorming diverse family structures. Then, we’ll learn about all of the possibilities these families can choose if they decide to add a baby to the mix. This class will cover basic male and female reproductive anatomy, sexual reproduction, adoption, egg and sperm donation, surrogacy, and in vitro fertilization. By the end of class, the kids always say they’ll definitely choose the in vitro route!
You are what you eat. Fueling Our Girl Power!

Did you know that the foods we eat literally build our bodies and fuel our girl power? In this class, we will learn about how different foods can help grow our girl power. We’ll also explore what foods are healthy and use our media literacy skills to decipher how some advertisements try to trick us into thinking their products are healthy.
Our class will culminate with a fun cooking project in which we make chia pudding with a rainbow of our favorite fresh fruits. Materials needed: bowl, spoon, two tablespoons of chia seeds, 1/2 cup milk or yogurt, fresh or frozen berries of your choice, cinnamon or cardamom, optional sweetener of your choice
