What are we teaching our boys?
In the wake of the Cornell Seven situation, we have both been hearing from parents and educators asking for support in talking with boys about consent, masculinity, peer pressure, respect, and responsibility.
So we’re creating a space to have that conversation together.
What Are We Teaching Our Boys?
Tuesday, October 20
7:00–8:30 PM PT
Online
We’ll explore:
• healthy and expansive masculinity
• consent beyond “no means no”
• peer pressure, power, and belonging
• digital culture and relationships
• how boys can speak up and step in when something isn’t right
• practical, age-appropriate conversations parents can begin at home
These conversations shouldn’t begin when our children leave for college.
They begin much earlier — with feelings, boundaries, friendship, dignity, respect, and what we owe one another.
We’re excited to co-facilitate this conversation:
Tanveer Alibhai | Alibhai Educational Consulting
Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed. | Girl Power Science
