The Confidence Code

Social-Emotional Tools to Tap Into Your Girl Power

Wednesday, November 11 • 9 am–3 pm
Ages 8–12 • Limited to just 10 campers

What if your child could spend a day having serious fun while building skills that will actually help her navigate growing up?

The Confidence Code is a one-day experience designed to help girls and gender-expansive youth understand their emotions, build confidence, navigate challenges, and discover their own strengths.

Through hands-on science experiments, creative activities, games, movement, and meaningful connection, campers will explore questions like:

✨ What makes me feel confident, and what gets in my way?
🧠 What's happening in my brain when I'm stressed, overwhelmed, or frustrated?
💪 How can I handle challenges without giving up on myself?
💬 How can I speak up, set boundaries, and advocate for what I need?
🌟 What are my unique strengths and "superpowers"?

More than a camp. A place to belong.

At Girl Power Science, we intentionally create a safe, welcoming affinity space where kids can ask questions, be themselves, take healthy risks, and connect with others who are navigating many of the same experiences.

And because we keep our camps intentionally small, with just 10 campers, every child gets to be seen, heard, and included.

The setting matters, too. Our magical treehouse classroom in Glen Park gives kids a chance to step away from the usual school-and-screen routine and spend the day learning, laughing, creating, and connecting in a space that feels like their own little world.

Led by an educator who gets it.

I'm Konika Ray Wong, M.Ed., founder and executive director of Girl Power Science. I've spent more than two decades teaching K–8 science, body literacy, and social-emotional learning, and I've worked with thousands of children and families.

I'm also a mom of a teenager, so I know that raising confident kids isn't about making life easy for them. It's about giving them the tools, language, and support to navigate the hard stuff.

I personally lead every Girl Power Science camp. Your child isn't just joining a program created by an organization. She's spending the day with the person who created it.

A day they'll remember.

The Confidence Code is a chance for kids to put down their screens, get curious, get creative, laugh with friends, and leave with a few new tools in their back pocket.

Because confidence isn't something kids either have or don't have.

It's something they can learn.

Grow more. Fear less.

$240/child

Extended Day: 3–5 pm for an additional $45, payable via Venmo after registration.

Families selecting Extended Day will receive Venmo payment instructions after registration.
