Period Power - Girl and Grown-Up Oct 24

$150.00

Girl & Grown-up "Period Power"

Saturday October 24 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Imagine a world where every child with a uterus felt strong, confident, and proud of their body’s inner superpowers.

In this “girl & grown-up” workshop, author Konika Wong reads One in a Million – A First Book About Periods and guides families through a fun, age-appropriate introduction to ovulation, menstruation, and all the amazing inventions we use to care for our bodies.

Through colorful visuals, interactive demos, and hands-on science experiments, we’ll celebrate the power of our cycles together. The session will culminate with plenty of time for questions. Perfect for curious kids (ages 7+) and the grownups who love them. All genders welcome.

Each child will go home with a copy of our kids book, “One in a Million - A First Book About Periods” and a first period kit to tuck in their school backpack.

Investment: $150 (1.5 hours) for one parenting adult and one child

We will serve a light snack and magic color changing lemonade.

5-Star Yelp Review:

“I can't say enough good things about Konika's mission and classes. We did a mother-daughter class about periods a few weeks ago with our soon-to-be 10 year olds. Her teaching style is engaging and informative. She's created a fun and relaxed space to discuss puberty and menstruation openly and candidly, removing shame that never should have been there in the first place. It was a fun morning with laughter, bonding and joy.”
