Wednesday, May 20th from 5 - 5:45 pm PST
Virtual Girl & Grown-Up Format
Cost: $40 per girl and grown-up pair
Did you know your child was born with millions of eggs in her body—and that one day, she will release her very first one?
For many girls, that moment can feel confusing, surprising, or even a little scary. But it doesn’t have to be.
This workshop is designed to turn uncertainty into confidence.
Together, we’ll celebrate girl power while learning about menstruation in a way that is age-appropriate, empowering, and even fun. We’ll explore amazing inventions and simple, practical strategies to help girls feel prepared for their first period—both physically and emotionally.
Konika Ray Wong will read her bestselling children’s book, One in a Million: A First Book About Periods, and bring the science of ovulation to life using engaging 3D visual aids. She’ll also share the real signs and clues that a first period is approaching—so your child can recognize what’s happening in her body and meet it with confidence instead of fear.
Please note: The registration fee includes one child and one adult. Dads are welcome to join us! All sales are final; no refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to have a friend take your spot.
