We all want our daughters to have the best possible start when it comes to puberty and periods. Studies show that girls' confidence often takes a dive during this time, which is why it’s crucial to build up her positive self-image proactively.

Our CuriosiTea experience offers a unique approach to puberty education that goes way beyond what is typically covered in schools.

We’ll celebrate growth and change and provide your daughter with the tools and knowledge she needs to embrace this important stage of her life with a growth mindset and excitement.

CuriosiTea is a special 3-in-1 celebration of growth and change combining our most popular kid’s workshops in our treehouse with a special girl and grown-up tea ceremony.

Part 1: Puberty Power (Just for the Kids)

We will reframe the changes associated with puberty as superpowers. From mood swings to breast buds, building body confidence is all about having an attitude of gratitude that our bodies are healthy and growing.

We will foster self care and good hygiene by playing the guess the deodorant scent game and doing our infamous growth mindset group juggle team challenge.

Part 2: Go with the Flow (Just for the Kids)

Konika will read her children’s book, “One in a Million - A First Book About Periods.” Using a wide variety of visual aids, we will explore the science of menstruation and all of the new and old inventions that help us manage our periods.

We’ll celebrate our cyclical superpowers with two fun science experiments.

Part 3: CuriosiTea Ceremony (Grown-Ups & Kids)

Parents and caregivers will join us for the final part of this session: a special tea ceremony. This unique opportunity creates a safe and supportive community, fostering open conversations and shared wisdom. By modeling how to discuss growth and change with confidence and openness, we help our daughters experience a dialogue that is both empowering and free of shame.

We’ll  sip our chai lattes and nibble on small bites while Konika answers the questions submitted by the children into the curiosiTea pot. Then each girl and grownup will create a cycle tracker bracelet together.

What to expect at a CuriosiTea experience

We start with a two hour session just for the kids to connect, have fun, make new friends, and learn scientifically accurate information about puberty and periods. Our time together includes a team building game, mini lesson in the treehouse, bath bomb making project, and two hands-on science experiments!

The mini lesson will reframe the physical and emotional changes associated with puberty as superpowers and put a spa-time self-care spin on hygiene to keep our bodies healthy. Konika will read her children’s book, “One in a Million - A First Book About Periods.” We’ll investigate and get silly with menstrual products including pads, period underwear, tampons, and menstrual cups. The students will submit anonymous questions into our curiosiTea pot.

After the kids session, one parent or caregiver per child is invited to join us for a short afternoon tea to celebrate this powerful rite of passage. Our time together as a community will help pave the way for you and your daughter to be able to speak freely, comfortably, and openly for months to come.

Each girl and grown-up pair will create a cycle tracker bracelet together to take home to remember the four seasons of our cyclical lives. Grown-ups are invited to share positive guidance and hopes and dreams.

Each child will leave feeling more confident in their knowledge of what’s to come and more comfortable discussing these topics with their grown-up afterwards. If friends attend together, then they gain the added benefit of solidarity and a supportive sisterhood within their social circle.

Konika loves to get the kids to laugh and have fun during the session to take away the shame and stigma associated with periods.

“Is this how to wear a pad?,” she asks, and the kids break out into roars of laughter.

Making these important topics joyful and light can positively transform your daughter’s perception of periods for a lifetime!

“I can’t say enough good things about Konika’s mission and classes. We did a mother-daughter class about periods a few weeks ago with our soon-to-be 10 year olds. Her teaching style is engaging and informative. She’s created a fun and relaxed space to discuss puberty and menstruation openly and candidly, removing the shame that never should have been there in the first place. It was a fun morning with laughter, bonding, and joy.”
